If you will be picking up your student before the end of the school day, please call the front office at (847) 948-0620 or email the nurse (cfarrar@dps109.org) to confirm who is picking up the student and at what time. Safety & Security

All of the exterior school doors are locked at all times during the school day, and all visitors are required to enter through the front office, sign in, and present their photo ID. Students arriving late must go directly to the office with a parent/guardian and sign in.  All students leaving early must be signed out by a parent/guardian.

Safety drills will be held throughout the school year. These include fire, tornado, earthquake, and lockdown (secure in place) drills.

For safety purposes, we request that parents and guests do not bring dogs on to school property. To learn more about safety and security in 109, please visit our Safety and Security page.
